Our time in Costa Rica
​​We believe God has called us to serve alongside two impactful ministries in Costa Rica, using the unique gifts and skills He’s given us to make a difference. After much prayer and preparation, we connected with PROMETA, a seminary dedicated to providing Latin Americans with access to theological education and resources. Josh will lead their creative marketing efforts, producing video content that will broaden their reach. His goal is to mentor a local creative, equipping them to carry on PROMETA’s vision long after we return home.
In addition to our work with PROMETA, Rachel is excited to support the Sojourn School, where she will serve in their early childhood department. This role will allow her to engage directly with young learners, fostering growth and development in these foundational years.
To better serve these communities, we’ll also be immersing ourselves in language study. By furthering our Spanish skills, we hope to connect more deeply with those we serve, building relationships that transcend language barriers.
We see this year as a stepping stone, a time to grow in our understanding of how God can use us to impact His kingdom.
Our hearts are committed to a year-long mission to Costa Rica. We are dedicated to impacting the lives of others by serving with purpose, creativity, and compassion. Through video and marketing work with PROMETA, and by equipping and nurturing young minds in education, we aim to cultivate growth and collaboration in the communities we touch. Guided by Christ, through these ministries, we are dedicated to serving and investing in the people of Costa Rica, building connections, and planting seeds that will bear fruit for years to come.
